From Pune to the World: Vervotech’s Travel-Tech Triumph

In 2018, tech entrepreneurs Sanjay Ghare and Dharmendra Ladi set out to fix one of the biggest hidden problems in travel tech—inaccurate and duplicate hotel data.
From a small office in Pune, they launched Vervotech, a SaaS platform that uses AI to deliver precise hotel mapping, room mapping, and curated content. Their product quickly gained traction among travel companies struggling with fragmented supplier data.
Within just a few years, Vervotech scaled to serve over 1,000 online travel businesses globally, including major names like Akbar Travels and PriceTravel. The platform now processes data from 400+ suppliers, covers 3M+ unique properties, and maintains an industry-leading 99.999% mapping accuracy.
In 2023, Vervotech was acquired by Juniper Travel Technology, a part of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU)—a major milestone that brought the Pune-born startup into a global ecosystem without compromising its independence.
With new leadership and expanded global reach, Vervotech continues to grow, proving that world-class travel tech can be built—and scaled—from India.
