From Small Room to ₹7 Lakh/Month: A Delhi Farmer’s Mushroom Success

In 2016, Pawan Kumar from Delhi took a bold step into an unconventional farming venture—mushroom cultivation. What started in a modest, small room has now grown into High-Tech Mushroom Farm, a thriving enterprise producing 170 kilograms of button mushrooms every single day.

With limited space but limitless determination, Pawan embraced smart farming techniques, temperature-controlled environments, and organic inputs to boost yield and quality. His consistent focus on quality and innovation quickly gained attention in the local markets.

Today, nine years since its inception, his farm not only supplies to local vendors and restaurants but also clocks an impressive monthly revenue of ₹7 lakh—all while operating from a relatively small space.

Pawan's journey is a powerful reminder that with the right knowledge, dedication, and a bit of risk-taking, farming can be both profitable and sustainable, even in urban settings.
