Zomato Names Aditya Mangla as CEO of Food Delivery Business

In a strategic leadership shift, Eternal Ltd (formerly Zomato Ltd) has appointed Aditya Mangla as the new CEO of its food delivery division, effective July 6, 2025. This marks a key transition as the company refocuses on growth and innovation in its largest business unit.

Mangla succeeds Rakesh Ranjan, who completed his two-year tenure and will move into a new role within the organization. Having joined Zomato in 2021, Mangla has served in several core leadership roles—most recently as Head of Product for the food delivery vertical.

Zomato founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal highlighted Mangla’s strong problem-solving skills, humility, and ability to navigate complexity. His appointment comes at a crucial time when the food delivery market faces challenges like slower growth, rising competition, and increasing customer expectations.

With Mangla at the helm, Zomato is expected to focus on product innovation, operational efficiency, and deeper partner relationships—positioning itself for sustainable expansion in India’s competitive foodtech space.
